Thanks to the determination and hard work of Trish Adams and Keith Girling Worksop Job Club is now up and running having celebrated their first meeting on Thursday 20th January. We wish them and their members every success and warmly welcome them to our network of Job Clubs.

We have made giant strides in our enterprise finance and mentoring initiative ‘The Jericho programme’ and will soon announce the launch of £1m+ funding to assist business start ups throughout the Job Club network.

Jane Gould our Development Director is currently helping ‘heros’ like Trish and Keith in communities up and down Great Britain set up Job Clubs and our target of 100 will be surely be reached in the next few months. Enquiries from new locations are arriving almost every day and the vision for 500 Job Clubs no longer seems quite so radical.

There is no ‘one size fits all’ way to run a Job Club but the common denominator we all share is ’self help’. Doing things for ourselves and one another is empowering; we also cope with the roller coaster ride of job search so much better when we share the journey.

If you would like to know more about running a job club or mentoring our amazing fledgling entrepreneurs please do GET IN TOUCH.
Thank you and God bless
